The Hannibal Regional Economic Development Council (HREDC) is hiring a full-time Business Counselor to serve entrepreneurs and small businesses across our seven-county region.

This position is part of the Missouri SBDC network and provides confidential, one-on-one counseling to businesses at all stages—from start-up to expansion. Areas of support include strategic planning, marketing, financial analysis, operations, human resources, and more.

We’re looking for a self-motivated, customer-focused professional with business experience and a passion for helping others succeed. Experience in sales, consulting, business ownership, or education is a plus.

• Pay: $50,000–$65,000/year
• Benefits include Health, dental, vision, IRA match, PTO, and professional development support
• Location: Based in Hannibal with regional travel
• Education: Bachelors required; business experience preferred
