Hannibal, MO. – The Hannibal Area CEO Board announced today that they are seeking
candidates for a part-time facilitator for the new Hannibal Area CEO Program beginning in Fall
2023.

Hannibal Area CEO is an immersive-entrepreneurship course offered through Hannibal Career
and Technical Center available to seniors from the seven school districts that participate in
HCTC. Applications are currently open through February 28th for juniors at Canton, Highland,
Mark Twain, Monroe City, Philadelphia, Palmyra, and Hannibal High Schools.

Students will meet every morning in a different business or organization in the community and
participate in business tours and hear from guest speakers. Students will work together to start a
class business in the fall, and in the spring, students will start their own personal businesses to be
shared at an end of the year trade show. The program is made possible by funding from over
thirty investors from the Hannibal region.

The CEO facilitator is responsible for organizing class speakers, coordinating business visits,
mentoring students, developing a mentor network, communicating with investors, and managing
the Hannibal Area CEO brand through social media. Desirable candidates are adaptable,
communicative, a kid-magnet, and are comfortable working in a technology rich environment.

Eligible applicants must have a teaching certification or have a business or marketing BS degree
with willingness to apply for Career Education Temporary Authorization and to take additional
college classes to become certified.
