HANNIBAL, MO – Moberly Area Community College (MACC) Hannibal is pleased to announce that they are teaming up with the Hannibal Career and Technical Center (HCTC) to offer customized training opportunities for businesses in Hannibal and surrounding areas.
Discussions of the potential partnership began in February when representatives from MACC and HCTC met with local business and industry leaders to identify community workforce needs.
Through the partnership MACC will be offering courses specifically designed for the needs of local businesses at the HCTC facility. “We truly appreciate the continued collaboration with the Hannibal Public Schools Career and Tech Center for the good of the communities we serve.” said Wendy Johnson, Director of MACC Hannibal.
Moberly Area Community College’s Workforce Development Center has developed the first of several programs to be offered at HCTC. The first in a series of evening adult training courses will be Machine Tool & More. Potential topics to be covered include CNC machining, Introduction to Fanuc Robot, Manual Milling Machine, Manual Lathe, and more. Classes begin on October 27th and will take place on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.
